Ambadi Payagal - Chanadranudikkunna Dikhil

The picturization of this song is superb! Who can beat this- nice village scenery in India...plus the nice half-saris, dancing among cows and floating on eco-rafts on the backwaters!! I also am attracted to the costumes, especially wearing the half-sari (pavadaa davani) with the ankelets. I love those scenes showing the bare feet running through with singing anklets. That is one aspect of beauty in women, I think!

The singers of this tune are Yesudas and Sujatha.
Another song of Sujatha's I love is the Tamil Song Paadava Paadava from the Jyothika movie, Little John.
Another song I really enjoy of Yesudas is the Tamil Song Amma Endrazhaikkaatha from the Rajini, Mannan

Only to know the poetry in the Malayalam... If you know the translation of this song, please post it in the comments below! Nanni.

Thank you for speding time on my blog!

am curious about how a person used to a totally different music culture finds the melody dominated indian film music.
do read my post on a screaming hot of the late sixties - original sung by yesuda, the modern version by his son vijay yesudas.
